About me

My metalwork career started with a four-year course in silversmithing and jewellery at Sir John Cass School of Art, which I loved, graduating in 1984. In my final year, I opened a shop in Portobello Road in London called Artifice, where I showcased the work of around twenty contemporary jewellers as well as my own. I closed the shop in 1990 and began working in large-scale gold manufacturing companies such as Goldcraft, supplying high street jewellery retail outlets.

My work has sold in Harrods, Harvey Nicholls, Fenwicks and many other British stores. I have shown at the British Designer Fair in Olympia, Top Drawer and various other trade and gift fairs. I have designed and made the jewellery for television productions including Hammer House of Horror and Morse, Starlight Express the musical, and have had my jewellery photographed for the Observer Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping and more.

These days I live and work by the sea in East Sussex.
